I'm a bass-baritone singer-songwriter with over 10 years of experience. I have 2 albums, 1 EP, and 3 singles out now on all streaming platforms. I've also had the pleasure of performing in various venues and theaters all around Michigan, Chicago, New York, parts of Indiana, and even Urbania, Italy.
My writing style is similar to Noah Kahan and Ed Sheeran in that my focus is on storytelling and taking the listener on a journey. I also like to incorporate elements of Kendrick Lamar every now and then, using different poetic devices like entendres and metaphors.
When it comes to providing harmonies, I have perfect pitch and I've sung in various choral/a cappella groups as a bass and baritone, so harmonizing is very easy for me. I have a smooth middle range and falsetto similar to Khalid with a low range that extends as far as Avi Kaplan's.
In addition, if your song needs piano/keyboard chords in the background to help bring the rest of the song to life, I provide this too.
My turnaround time for my services is 7-10 business days.

-Once the project is funded, I will ask for all relevant files. I will also send a rough mp3 file for approval.
-Once approved and funds are released, I will send all unedited files in a wav format.

-I ask for anywhere between 10-25% of publishing royalties and name credits for songs I work on. Final % to be discussed.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To provide lyrics and harmonies that compliment your melodies and enhance the overall vision of your song.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love that a simple harmony can add more emotional depth to a song. I also love that there can be so many layers packed into either a single lyric or the entire song.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What topic do you want to write about? Do you see this being more uptempo or downtempo? What point are you trying to get across with this song?
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I primarily work on the Pop and Singer-Songwriter genres.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring storytelling and poetry to lyrics, as well as low, middle, and high falsetto backing vocals.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For songwriting, I sit with the subject matter and think about the groove of the song. Once the melody lines and rhythms are established, I'll begin writing the lyrics in line with the melody. For backing vocals, I start by listening to the song, deciding where the harmonies should go, and then I play around with different harmonies until I land on the right one.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I provide lyrics and backing harmonies for artists' songs.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have my home studio equipped with an isolation shield and a Blue Yeti microphone with a pop filter. I use Logic Pro X to record my vocals.

A: I don't know them personally, but I would recommend Sean Killeen and Krysta Youngs. They both do incredible work and deliver the highest quality possible.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Let the provider create and be open to their initial interpretation and vision. If it's not fully what you're looking for, articulate what it is you want and trust that the provider will deliver. If it still isn't what you're looking for, respectfully tell the provider that you'll be moving in another direction. But give the provider a chance first.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Khalid, Ed Sheeran, and Charlie Puth. A lot of their songs have incredible melodies that are fun to harmonize to, and I've been harmonizing to their songs for years.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Coming up with harmonies after 1-2 listens. Having perfect pitch helps me come up with harmonies very quickly.
